DEKALB COUNTY, GA—The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) will host its 2026 Valedictorians
and Salutatorians Recognition Program to celebrate the academic achievements of the district’s highest-
performing graduating seniors.
The Board of Education and Superintendent will formally recognize and honor these outstanding students for their excellence, leadership, and dedication.
In accordance with Board policy, IHDA, the District certified 26 valedictorians and 27 salutatorians for
the Class of 2026. This annual recognition program highlights the accomplishments of DCSD’s top
scholars and underscores the district’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.
The program will be held on Thursday, May 7, 5 p.m., at Fernbank Science Center, 156 Heaton Road, Atlanta.
