The delegation’s leadership team is as follows: State Representatives Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates), chair; Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), vice chair; Long Tran (D-Dunwoody), secretary; and Becky Evans (D-Atlanta), treasurer.
“I am honored to serve as the chair of this dynamic legislative delegation for another two years,” said Rep. Drenner. “I look forward to working with all of the members to serve the citizens of DeKalb County.”
“To move from treasurer to vice chair of this delegation is a blessing,” said Rep. Davis. “I appreciate the confidence and trust our fellow legislators have in us. We look forward to serving our communities in DeKalb County.”
“It is my honor to serve as the secretary for the DeKalb Delegation,” said Rep. Tran. “I look forward to fostering new ways for our delegation to communicate its priorities with our county.”
“I am excited to continue serving as an officer of the delegation,” said Rep. Evans. “DeKalb residents deserve transparency and accountability, and I know that this group of leaders will remain available and ready to work side-by-side with constituents at the State Capitol.”
These delegation officers will help create and promote legislative initiatives that serve the citizens of DeKalb County. The officers also coordinate delegation meetings and public events to ensure that county residents have an opportunity to hear directly from the delegation members.
