What is the 2055 Unified Plan Update?
The 2055 Unified Plan Update project is an update to DeKalb County’s comprehensive land use plan. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan is a foundational policy document that establishes a long-term vision for future land use, housing, economic development, sustainability, and community investment. Key policy target areas include sustainability, retail, housing, transit-oriented development, health and wellness, and arts and culture.
More than a visioning document, the plan will serve as an implementation tool to help guide future development, public investment, and policy decisions across the County. Community input is essential to this process.
