DEKALB COUNTY, GA– The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7, and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Online and kiosk services are available daily, including weekends and holidays when the office is closed.
“Our central office on Memorial Drive is busier than usual the week before and the week after a holiday. To avoid delays, I encourage taxpayers to consider kiosk and online services,” said Tax Commissioner Nicole Golden. “For walk-in service, appointments can be made ahead of time, or join the virtual waitlist for same-day service for any of the three office locations in DeKalb.”
Motor vehicle self-service kiosks are available at participating Kroger stores to renew eligible vehicle tags and pay insurance fines. Limited DDS transactions are also available to renew eligible driver's license and identification cards.
Property tax payments can be made online or by phone at 678-501-7995.
In-person services are available during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at any of the following office locations:

- North office at 3653 Clairmont Road, Chamble, GA 30341
- South DeKalb Mall at 2801 Candler Road, Decatur, GA 30034 (North end mall entrance)
