DEKALB COUNTY, GA—DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) invites the community to its Registered and Ready Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur.
As the November 2026 General Election approaches, this interactive, family-friendly event will offer DeKalb residents an opportunity to get election-ready in a fun, community-centered atmosphere.
“We are excited to bring the community together for an engaging event designed to register eligible individuals in DeKalb County and help prepare voters for the upcoming election,” said Keisha Smith, Executive Director of DeKalb VRE. “We encourage residents to join us, get informed and take the necessary steps to ensure they are registered and ready to make their voices heard in November.”
Designed to make voter registration accessible while bringing the community together, the block party will feature:
- Live local entertainment and food trucks
- Games and activities for children and families
- Community resources to support and inform attendees
Along with live entertainment, attendees can access essential election services, including a voter registration drive, on-site verification of voter registration status, voter identification card issuance and critical election information to help ensure they are prepared to participate in the November election.
This event is free and open to the public. Whether residents are registering to vote for the first time, updating their registration information or confirming their current status, the Registered and Ready Block Party will provide a fun and convenient way to prepare for the election and make their voices heard at the ballot box.
