DeKalb County Police are investigating a fatal shooting involving a female juvenile.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. today (Dec. 4), police responded to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Madras Court in Lithonia, where the child was found shot in the face. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she died.
“At this time, the investigation is very active and ongoing,” said DeKalb County Police Department’s spokeswoman Michaela Vincent. “Our hearts go out to the family.”
