DeKalb Tax Commissioner announces service reminders during early voting at Memorial Drive office park

DEKALB COUNTY, GA – DeKalb County Tax Commissioner Nicole M. Golden is reminding residents that motor vehicle and property tax services are available at satellite office locations in DeKalb County.

“With advance voting taking place at the Memorial Drive office park, customers doing business at the tag office can expect increased foot traffic and parking volume now through October 30th. We’re reminding taxpayers that the same in-person services are also available at the Clairmont Road and South DeKalb Mall satellite office locations,” said Tax Commissioner Nicole Golden.

All tax offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the following locations:

• Central office at 4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 30032
• North office at 3653 Clairmont Road, Chamble, GA 30341
• South DeKalb Mall at 2801 Candler Road, Decatur, GA 30034 (North end mall entrance)

The property tax office located on Memorial Drive is open until 5 p.m. Secure drop box options are also available at all office locations; online services are available at DeKalbTaxGA.gov.

Taxpayers are encouraged to join the waitlist or schedule an appointment at DeKalbTaxGA.gov to avoid long lines and wait times. Most motor vehicle services are also available online and self-service tag renewal kiosks. Kiosks are located at the following locations:

Mobile tax office services include vehicle registration renewals, issuance and renewal of disabled placards, insurance lapse payments, disabled license plates, senior emissions waivers, homestead exemption applications, and property tax payments. Services are available monthly at all seven DeKalb County senior centers:

• North DeKalb Senior Center – beginning June 8, 2026; every 2nd and 4th Monday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
• DeKalb-Atlanta Senior Center – beginning June 10, 2026; every 2nd Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• South DeKalb Senior Center – launched Apr. 23, 2026; every 2nd and 4th Thursday, 10 a.m. – noon.
• Lithonia Senior Center – launched Mar. 5, 2026; every 1st and 3rd Thursday, 10 a.m. – noon. 
• East Central DeKalb Community & Senior Center – launched March 4, 2026; every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Central DeKalb Senior Center – launched Jan. 8, 2024; every 1st and 3rd Monday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Lou Walker Senior Center – launched Jan. 31, 2023; every Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
