Excel Church in Conyers to host free groceries to go on Aug. 7

CONYERS, GA – Excel Church, 1151 Flat Shoals Road SE, will give away hundreds of boxes of groceries to the community during its Free Groceries to Go on Saturday, Aug. 7 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Excel also will be giving away free school supplies during the event. Fresh meat, produce, personal and household products will be given away.

“It’s a blessing to be able to serve our community amidst a pandemic where people are experiencing economic hardship,” said Pastor K. Francis Smith, Lead Pastor of Excel Church. “We embrace every opportunity possible to provide a positive, safe and fun environment for families throughout the year.”

Drive up and park at the front of the church and a volunteer will come out and bring your free box.
