DeKalb County Extension announces the sixth season of Fresh on DeK, DeKalb County’s Mobile Farmers Market, which travels throughout the county offering nutrition education and fresh grown fruits and vegetables for sale. The season will be open from June 1 to Sept. 18.
Fresh on DeK brings fresh fruits and vegetables to DeKalb County.
Fresh on DeK’s purpose is to improve the health of the community, the viability of local produce and to preserve the environment for future generations by providing access to fresh produce and nutritional education programming throughout DeKalb County.
This season, Fresh on DeK will be implementing a COVID-19 response operations model, and will be providing virtual nutrition education, in addition to pre-bagged fruits and vegetables for registrants at no cost.
