DEKALB COUNTY, GA— Celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday at the free July 4th Chamblee Rocks Summer Concert featuring R&B sensation and Grammy Award-Winning Artist Robin Thicke at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Chamblee.
Thicke will bring his smooth vocals and hit songs including“ Blurred Lines,”“Lost Without U,” and other chart-topping hits to the stage setting the tone for the night to end with a spectacular display of fireworks. Fireworks will light up the summer sky beginning around 9 p.m.
Parking will be very limited and will be available at Winter Construction, 5616 Peachtree Road and Chamblee Middle School, 3601 Sexton Woods Drive. For those who park at Chamblee Middle School, a shuttle will drop off concertgoers at Chamblee’s Rideshare Park from 5:30 – 11 p.m. From the Rideshare Park, concertgoers will take a short walk to Chamblee City Hall.
Utilizing MARTA, rideshare options, and using the Chamblee rideshare park, located at 5374 Peachtree Road, are highly encouraged. Rideshare users using our Uber voucher will receive $5 off to and from the Chamblee Rideshare Park. Broad Street, Ingersoll Rand Drive and Irvindale Way will be closed from 7 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Peachtree Road—from the Whaley Machine Co. (5553 Peachtree Road) to the parking lot at Vintage Pizzeria (5434 Peachtree Road)—will close at 2 p.m. and remain closed the duration of the event.
Attendees are permitted to bring coolers; however, coolers must be smaller than 30 quarts and outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Golf carts, motorized vehicles, drones, or consumer fireworks of any kind are not allowed on the premises.

In accordance with Chamblee’s Downtown Entertainment District, alcohol purchased from any alcohol licensed establishment located in the district must display the establishment’s name or logo and a sticker designated from the City authorizing the drink for outdoor consumption in the Downtown Entertainment District.
