LITHONIA, GA—The Board of Commissioners of the Lithonia Housing Authority (LHA) has appointed Nikki Davis as Chief Executive Officer.
Davis succeeds the agency’s long-time CEO, the late Martha Calloway, who passed away after illness on Jan. 22, 2022. Mrs. Calloway had held the position as CEO of the Lithonia Housing Authority for 20 years.
Prior to her taking the helm with the LHA, Davis served in the private sector of multifamily housing, most recently as a regional manager.
Davis is a Detroit native who has lived in the Lithonia area for 30 years. She has five children and five grandchildren. Davis has served in leadership at Excel Church in Rockdale County for 14 years as a Minister and Worship Leader.
Davis said she is deeply committed to the mission and values of LHA and is looking forward to serving.
“I am excited to be part of the future of the Housing Authority of Lithonia and serve this great community! I believe that providing affordable housing and supportive services are important for our residents and I will work diligently to assure we provide both. We will work with a variety of community partners to offer various programs for our residents. These partnerships will ensure all residents will have the resources to acquire the education, skills, and fundamentals to be self-sufficient. The greatest asset of LHA is our residents and each day we will strive to serve and make improvements. I look forward to working with Lithonia City Officials, community leaders and community partners to achieve the mission of LHA.”
