STONECREST, GA—The Grammy award-winning Erica Campbell, of the gospel duo, Mary Mary, will kick off a women’s empowerment conference with a free concert on Sept. 26, 7:30 p.m., at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 6400 Woodrow Road, Stonecrest.
New Birth’s Reinvigorate Women’s Conference is set Sept. 28-30. The inspiring and enlightening weekend for women will feature Nona Jones, international speaker, preacher and author; Tasha Cobb Leonard, award-winning gospel artist and actress; and Dr. Heavenly Kimes, of the Bravo reality series, Married to Medicine.
“Reinvigorate recognizes the universal burden that so many women carry as mothers, leaders, business owners, spouses and change makers,” said New Birth Senior Pastor Jamal Bryant. “This is an extraordinary lineup of the most prolific voices of our time. Come with an expectation to be changed, challenged and championed at the Reinvigorate Women’s Weekend.”

Sept. 26, 7 p.m., Erica Campbell Live Concert
Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell will host a free concert at New Birth, singing hits from her new album, “I Love You,” which officially releases this month. No registration is required to attend.
Sept. 28, noon, Women’s Power Luncheon
International preacher and author Nona Jones will serve as the keynote speaker at the Women’s Power Luncheon, which will be held at The Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta. The ticketed luncheon celebrates the achievements of four distinguished women who continue to inspire and impact people both locally and around the globe through their noted achievements and contributions. The luncheon honorees include leading women’s health advocate, Dr. Julianne Birt; Slutty Vegan restauranteur Pinky Cole; syndicated radio personality Nina Brown; and Goodr Founder Jasmine Crowe-Houston. Sept. 29, 7:30 p.m., Women’s Worship Encounter
Internationallyacclaimed and Grammy award-winning gospel recording artist Tasha Cobb Leonard and Grammy-nominated Maranda Curtis will headline the Women’s Worship Encounter, which will be held at New Birth. Admission is free with event registration.
Sept. 30, Women’s Day Intensive
The weekend of activities concludes with a series of empowerment sessions beginning at 10 a.m. The sessions are free with registration. Speakers include Dr. Heavenly Kimes; Brandi Harvey; Dr. Robin Barrett; and Love McPhersonand others who will discuss entrepreneurship, relationships, ministry, career, health and wellness.
The Women’s Day Intensive also offers a session dedicated for teen girls.
A special homeownership program will be led by Dr. Annie Lois Johnson with United Security Financial Corp.
