“Remembering and Honoring Kenneth Saunders III”

A virtual memorial tribute will be held to remember South DeKalb community activist Kenneth Saunders, III on April 24, 1:30 p.m.

Mr. Saunders, who recently passed away from COVID-19, was vice president

of the Hidden Hills Civic Association, an organization where he served for more than two decades. Mr. Saunders was passionate about making a difference in the community, also serving on the county’s Zoning Board of Appeals, the DeKalb Parks Bond Advisory Committee and he was a candidate for the DeKalb County District 5 Commission seat in 2015. He served on the South DeKalb Improvement Association with Kathryn Rice, who founded the organization.
