ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners (BOC) has tentatively adopted a 2021 millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 7.94 percent.
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §48-5-32, public hearings relative to the millage rate will be held. The hearing details are as follows:
· Public Hearing: Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall located at 901 Main Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. (Board Meeting to Follow)
· Public Hearing: Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at JP Carr Community Center located at 981 Taylor Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. (Board Meeting to Follow)
· Public Hearing: Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.in the Assembly Hall located at 901 Main Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. (Board Meeting to Follow)
The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners will hold a Called Meeting to set the millage rate on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. (or immediately following the public hearing) in the Assembly Hall located at 901 Main Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. (Board Meeting to Follow)
