ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA —Rockdale County will celebrate Black History Month in February with a docuseries about the county’s historic elections in 2012.
“The Slate of Eight: Black History Made in Rockdale,” a four-part docuseries, takes viewers on an epic journey, detailing how the citizens of Rockdale County elected 8 African Americans to key county positions in a historic moment. The group made history by being the first African Americans to sit in these positions.
The docuseries will premiere on multiple platforms, including Rockdale County’s Channel 23, YouTube Channel, Vimeo, and will be accessible on the official website. Save the dates for the release of each episode:

Episode 4: Feb. 27
