The Rockdale County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office reminds voters that In-Person Early Voting begins on Monday, October 17, 2016 for the General and Special Election to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Per the sample ballot attached, voters will cast ballots for races such as President, U.S. Senate, Congress, State House, State Senator, Board of Commission, Sheriff, Probate Judge, Clerk of Courts, etc.
The Rockdale Board of Elections is open for voters to cast their early ballots during the following days/hours:
Monday – Friday, October 17 – October 28, Saturday; October 29. Monday-Friday, October 31 – November 4
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (extended hours)
Friday, November 4, is the last day voters may cast an early ballot or request a ballot by mail. After this time, voters must vote at their assigned precinct on Election Day, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., November 8.

The Board of Elections Office reminds all voters to “remember to bring a government-issued photo ID such as a passport, driver’s license, or military ID.” State law requires early voters to display valid identification to an election official before receiving a ballot to vote early.
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL: Any voter wishing to vote by mail absentee ballot, must submit a request in writing to the Board of Elections Office no later than Friday, November 4, 2016. An absentee ballot request form can be found on the My Voter Page website w w w .mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP, along with information on where to vote, assigned election districts, precinct sample ballots or to check the status of their ballot.
