Rockdale’s State of the County Address for citizens set March 30, 6 p.m.

ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—Rockdale Board of Commissioners Chairman Oz Nesbitt will deliver the State of the County Address today, March 30, 6 p.m., at the Rockdale Auditorium, 903 North Main St., Conyers.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Nesbitt, who will be joined by Commissioners Sherri Washington, Post 1, and Doreen Williams, Post 2, will provide an update to citizens on the progress the county has made   and plans for its future.

The program also will honor “Unsung Heroes” in the community and the Charles P. Cole-Lewis Belcher, Jr. Citizen Involvement Award.

Nesbitt delivered his State of the County Address to the business community at a 7:30

a.m. breakfast meeting today, which was hosted by the Council for Quality Growth and

Atlas. The meeting was held at the Costley Mill Event Center in Conyers.
