STONECREST, GA—The South DeKalb Improvement Association Education (SDIAE) will host Dr. Devon Horton, newly-appointed superintendent for the DeKalb County School District, at its upcoming general body meeting.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Stonecrest Public Library, 3123 Klondike Road, Stonecrest.
The meeting will provide aan opportunity for community members, educators, and stakeholders to engage with Horton and learn about his vision for the DeKalb County School District.
The event will be moderated by Dele Lowman, senior vice president for GovHR, who will facilitate an insightful discussion between Horton and the audience. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, express their concerns, and gain a better understanding of the new initiatives and educational priorities that will shape the future of the DeKalb County School District.
