Stonecrest Mayor Jason Lary’s swearing-in ceremony, reception set Jan. 7

Stonecrest Mayor Jason Lary will be sworn into office for his second term on Tuesday, Jan. 7. A meet-and-greet reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the swearing-in ceremony at 7 p.m., in the small chapel at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 6400 Woodrow Road, Stonecrest.

DeKalb County State Court Judge Ronald B. Ramsey will administer the oath of office.

Remarks will be brought by New Birth’s senior pastor, Jamal Bryant; Union First Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Edward L. Randolph, Jr.; State Rep. Vernon Jones, District 91; and others.
