ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—Voices for Rockdale will partner with the City of Conyers’ Adopt A Mile community cleanup on Wednesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Volunteers are needed and welcome to participate. The group will meet at Pine Log Road and the Bulldog gravel lot to park and pick up supplies. Dress comfortably for the warm weather. Members of Voices for Rockdale are asked to wear their T-shirts, if they have one.
The group will pick up trash from Pine Log Road to Main Street to Rowland Road.
Corliss Turner, founder of Voices for Rockdale, encourages anyone who would like to get involved with the group’s Adopt A Mile program to come out for the cleanup.
“It’s one way that citizens can do their part in joining the City of Conyers for a cleaner and safer place for our residents,” Turner said.
