WOC seeks donations to help needy families for the holidays

Annually, Words of Comfort Ministries, Inc. (WOC) in Snellville hosts its holiday event, Adopt-A-Family Program, in an effort to assist families in need. During the Adopt-A-Family Program, WOC volunteers, along with other community partners, provide Christmas gifts, food baskets, gift cards and dinner to families in search of help during the holiday season.

This year’s event will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville.

WOC is in need of non-perishable food items, unopened toys for children ages 1-17, wrapping paper and gift cards.
