ATLANTA—The City of Atlanta will open a warming center ahead of colder temperatures. The center is open tonight, Jan. 16, and will remain open through Thursday, Jan.18, and will extend or adjust opening based on weather forecasts. The warming center is located at the Central Park Recreation Center at 400 Merritts Ave. NE, Atlanta.  Transportation will be provided beginning at 80 p.m. from the Gateway Center, located at 275 Pryor St. SW, Atlanta, with return transportation upon deactivation.
