CONYERS, GA– Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) announced its 2022-2023 Teachers of the Year. These exemplary teachers go above and beyond for their students, peers, and community, district officials said today The RCPS Teacher of the Year Celebration is scheduled to be held in October. DEKALB COUNTY, GA– In partnership with the DeKalb County Police Department, the DeKalb County Police Athletic League(PAL) is hosting its Inaugural PAL Pumpkin 5k Run/Walk on Oct. 22, at 4 p.m. On race day, there will be activities for the whole family. DECATUR, GA—Fisher Trail NE, between Imperial Drive NE and Eldorado Drive NE, will be closed to through-traffic Thursday, Sept. 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to facilitate the repair of a sewer main line. DECATUR, GA—The DeKalb Board of Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) during its regularly scheduled meeting on Sept. 8 confirmed the location of 16 advance voting locations and changes to Election Day polling sites. Advance voting in DeKalb County will be held Oct. 17—Nov.  4.
