ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA – Atlanta rapper Trouble was fatally shot early Sunday in Rockdale County, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said this afternoon. Investigators said deputies responded to a shooting around 3:20 a.m. today and found a black male lying on the ground at the Lake St. James Apartment complex, 50 St. James Drive, Conyers. The man was identified as Mariel Orr, the 34-year-old Atlanta rapper. GWINNETT COUNTY, GA– Gwinnett County’s  Department of Water Resources has partnered with Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity to provide plumbing and septic repair assistance to Gwinnett residents through the Water Resources Assistance Program(WRAP). Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds were awarded to Gwinnett County in the amount of $4 million for home plumbing repairs and septic system conversions and repairs. The County has allocated up to $1 million to Habitat for Humanity in 2022 in partnership with WRAP. Future funds will be allocated to the program on an annual basis. DECATUR, GA—After multiple days of hand counting of ballots, DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) has completed initial efforts to count the ballots cast in the DeKalb County District 2 Commission race. Issues related to initial election results prompted DeKalb VRE, in coordination with the Georgia Secretary of State, to take necessary steps to identify accurate results of the Commission District 2 contest.
