TUCKER, GA—Morris Avenue, between Archdale Drive and Lawrenceville Highway, will be closed to through-traffic from 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, to facilitate the installation of a manhole and sewer lines at 2214 Morris Drive, Tucker. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions. Scattered thunderstorms are expected all weekend in metro Atlanta as tropical downpours in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi head East toward Georgia. DECATUR, GA – DeKalb County Tax Commissioner Irvin J. Johnson is reminding property owners of the upcoming Sept. 30 installment deadline. Payments can be made online at DeKalbTax.org; additional payment methods include drop box, mail or by phone.
