GWINNETT COUNTY, GA—The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a homicide at Lenora Park that left a 19-year-old Snellville man dead. Police have identified the victim as Brian Arnold-Causey. Investigators say the shooting happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15. An unknown person dropped the victim off at Gwinnett County Fire Station 6, 3890 Johnson Drive, Snellville, telling fire personnel that the victim had been shot.. Police responded to the “medical assistance” call from the fire station and a medical unit also was dispatched. Authorities said the man later died from his injuries. Stonecrest, GA—Jesse Collings, a Stonecrest resident and Georgia State University student, has been named the recipient of the 2023 Mattie’s Way Memorial Scholarship. Collings was awarded the $1,000 scholarship on June 1, according to bold.org. The scholarship is funded by the Wilmoth family, in memory of Matthew “Mattie” Wilmoth, a beloved son who struggled for years with anxiety and depression. Ronnie Mack, 72, has been missing since Sunday morning, June 11, after leaving his residence in the 2200 block of Wingfoot Place.Mack is 5’7, 135 lbs. and has brown eyes and black hair.
