For the 29th year, Rockdale County churches of all denominations will come together for a community pre-Thanksgiving service on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m., Rockdale County Auditorium, 903 Main St., Conyers.
There will be an opportunity for the churches to split an offering that will benefit Family Promise of NewRock, which assists homeless children and their families in Rockdale and Newton counties, and Rockdale Emergency Relief, which also helps families and individuals in need.
