DEKALB COUNTY, GA– The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections will hold a Special Called Meeting on Wednesday, June 18, at 10 a.m. to conduct a pre-certification review of precinct results, as required by State Election Board Rule 183-1-12-.12. The meeting will take place in person at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur.
The public may submit comments for consideration, which may be made in person during the meeting or submitted by email. Emails must be one printed page or less, in a minimum 12-point font, and include the sender’s first and last name in the body of the email. Public comments must be sent to electionspubliccmnt@dekalbcountyga.gov and received no earlier than 35 minutes and no later than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the meeting.
By submitting a written comment, participants consent to having their name and email broadcast on UStream and entered into the official record and minutes. The Board reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to include submitted comments in the record without reading them aloud or to read all or portions of the email into the record.
Public comments are limited to two minutes per speaker. Disruptive behavior, including abusive language, clapping, yelling, holding up signs, or blocking aisles, will not be permitted. However, attendees may show support or opposition by raising their hand or quietly standing.
