ATLANTA – State Rep. Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia) recently received an honorary Doctorate in Christian Business Management from the School of the Great Commission Bible College and Seminary.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to receive an honorary Doctorate in Christian Business Management from the School of the Great Commission Bible College and Seminary,” said Rep. Carter. “This recognition is a testament to my commitment to lifelong learning and my dedication to integrating Christian principles into business practices. I am grateful for the education and training I have received and look forward to continuing to serve my community with integrity and a strong ethical foundation.”
Carter was presented with her honorary doctorate during a ceremony on Saturday, June 3. She currently holds a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Theology. Carter represents District 93, portions of DeKalb, Rockdale and Newton County.
The School of the Great Commission was designed to provide Christian-based education to individuals in the U.S. and internationally. The school has obtained accreditation from the World-Wide Accreditation of Christian Educational Institutions and the Southeastern Association of Bible Colleges.
