Parents and children can learn to knit together during summer break on June 27, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Centerville Community Center, 3079 Bethany Church Road, Snellville. Start an easy project in class and leave with the confidence of completing it at home. Learn take-home ideas that you can use to make fun articles and gifts.
The program is open to children ages 8 and older who are accompanied by a paying adult. Size 8 needles and worsted-weight yarn are required for the class. The cost for the class is $2 (in exact cash notes, no coins). The fee is non-refundable. The class size is limited.
