BUFORD, GA–Boating and lake life enthusiasts should check out the 2026 Lake Lanier Boat Show. The three-day family-friendly event will be held April 24-26 in Buford, GA.
Buford is located north of Atlanta about 45 miles driving distance via I-85.
Georgia’s premier in-water boat show returns to the docks of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands for a full weekend and offers attendees festival-like atmosphere where kids are welcome. Attendees will enjoy exploring the latest boat models, connecting with trusted local dealers, planning their next great adventure on the water and other activities.
The Marine Trade Association of Metro Atlanta (MTAMA) hosts the event each year to bring together the boating enthusiast and help both new and seasoned boaters discover the perfect vessel for their lifestyle.

Set against Lake Lanier’s scenic backdrop, more than 200 boats will be on display from approximately 15 local dealers representing more than 50 respected boat brands.
Guests can stroll the docks, climb aboard the newest models, compare options with industry experts, and experience firsthand what makes life on the lake so special.
The featured boats will include Pontoon Boats, Fishing Boats, Wake & Ski Boats, Bowriders, and Luxury & Performance Boats at exclusive boat show pricing. Lake Lanier Association will be on hand at the front of the docks to provide life jackets for children, ensuring a safe, stress-free boat-shopping experience.
