ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will reopen long-term parking decks at Lenox, Lindbergh Center, Dunwoody, and Medical Center Stations in October after the installation of new parking payment systems. The payment system upgrades include new entry and exit gates, ticket dispensers, payment machines, and license plate recognition cameras, offering a more streamlined and secure process for customers.
Beginning Oct. 7, drivers will take a ticket as they enter the long-term parking decks at Lenox, Lindbergh Center, Dunwoody, or Medical Center rail stations. Customers should take that ticket with them and upon their return, use it to pay for parking at new kiosks located near the station faregates. The kiosks accept cash and debit/credit cards. Below are current parking rates.
- Parking at Lenox, Dunwoody, and Medical Center is free for the first 24 hours and $5 per day after.
- Parking at Lindbergh Center is free for the first 24 hours and $8 per day after.
MARTA has ten long-term parking facilities. The remaining six station parking deck payment systems will be upgraded and activated on a rolling schedule through April 2025. Customers may experience temporary detours at some stations during this work.
