The Rockdale County Tax Commissioner’s Office is re-opening today after it was shut down this week following a report of an employee’s possible exposure to COVID during the week of July 19.
Tax Commissioner Tisa Smart Washington said the office, which has been closed since Monday, July 26, underwent a thorough scrub and will resume normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Staff will begin responding to calls and text messages left at the office today.
In addition to the main office, automobile registration renewals can be completed at any MVD Self-Service Kiosk location around the state, including at Kroger in Conyers Square, 1745 GA-138 SE. Conyers. Additionally, property tax payments and various motor vehicle transactions, including registration renewals, can be completed online at www.rockdaletaxoffice.org.
