ATLANTA—MARTA’s Red Line rail service south of Dunwoody has resumed, but customers urged to allow extra time as construction continues, officials said today. Services on portions of the Red Line had been temporarily suspended, due to the transit agency’s track replacement project between Buckhead and Medical Center stations on the Northland DXO (double crossover). As work continues on the project, trains are moving on a single track through the area. MARTA officials said customers still will need to allow themselves a little extra time to travel. CONYERS, GA–  Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) will offer a virtual option for K-5 students in addition to the in-person default option for the 2022-2023 school year. The elementary virtual option will have teachers solely designated for virtual classes. The application window for the virtual K-5 option is Feb. 28-March 18, 2022. LITHONIA, GA – On Thursday, Feb. 24, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is visiting with Pride Road, a family-owned food manufacturing company that produces all natural locally grown Hibiscus-based products. Their Hibiscus begins from seeds collected from the previous season’s harvest. These seeds are grown into transplants and planted at local Georgia farms.
