Meals, oxygen and diesel fuel for generator delivered   DECATUR, GA— DeKalb County Government is providing assistance to the residents of Coventry Place senior community after a plane crash knocked out power in the area this morning (Nov. 4). DeKalb County is providing diesel fuel for the facility’s generator in addition to meals and backup oxygen for residents of the North Decatur Road community. At approximately 9:45 a.m., a plane, which had departed DeKalb-Peachtree Airport en route to Perry, GA, crashed onto North Decatur Road after reportedly experiencing engine problems. DECATUR, GA – The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has opened registration for a one day mini-camp experience to accommodate the DeKalb County School District closing in celebration of our very own Atlanta Braves winning the 2021 World Series title. The one -day mini camp is for ages 5 -15, Nov. 5, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The camp fee is $10 per child. All participants must bring breakfast, lunch and snack.
