CONYERS, GA—The city of Conyers and community partners will gather on Friday, Feb. 18, 2 p.m., to plant a tree at the Rockdale County Master Gardeners Association Memorial Arboretum, located at the Georgia International Horse Park. The tree planting is being held in honor of the state’s annual Arbor Day celebration and the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day in the year 2022. DECATUR, GA– DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will offer a winter break minicamp on Feb. 18, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost of camp is $10 a day for children ages 5-12. Participants must provide their own breakfast, lunch and snack. Park staff will meet campers outside all recreation centers for curbside dropoff and pickup. Parents will not be allowed to enter the facility during operating hours. All campers are required to be screened via temperature checks and must wear a mask while indoors.
