DECATUR, GA– Due to staffing challenges, the DeKalb County Board of Health has cancelled all scheduled COVID-19 testing appointments at its Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church testing site, located at 1879 Glenwood Ave., SE, Atlanta. STONECREST, GA—The King’s Table, a ministry launched last year by New Birth Missionary Baptist Church to curb household food insecurity, will host its first free food distribution of the year on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. The Stonecrest ministry is also partnering to provide free drive-thru COVID-19 testing as households wait on vaccines and continue to grapple with impacts caused by the global pandemic.
